Hawaii at UNLV 11/16/19 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors (6-4) will bring their high-flying offense to Las Vegas this weekend to play UNLV (2-7). Hawaii has one of the best offenses in the nation, averaging 498 yards per game which is 11th. Hawaii is third nationally passing at 349 yards per game.

The problem for Hawaii has been stopping other teams. The Rainbow Warriors are giving up 451 yards per game, about the same amount whether in the running or passing game. The team is averaging 37.3 points and is giving up 36.4 per game. Hawaii's last two games have been shootouts, losing to Fresno 41-38 and beating SJSU 42-40 last week. Both games involved some last-minute heroics.

UNLV has been outscored by about 10 points per game, 34.4-23.6. The Rebels are averaging 213 yards passing, and 162 rushing. The team is giving up 222 passing and 204 rushing.

Cole McDonald leads Hawaii with 2796 yards passing, 25 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. The team has 3500 yards passing and 32 touchdowns. Hawaii has two 800-yard receivers and they each have nine touchdowns. Miles Reed has 569 yards rushing and six touchdowns.

Kenyon Oblad leads UNLV with 1531 yards passing, 12 touchdowns and six interceptions. Charles Williams has 876 yards rushing and seven touchdowns. Randall Grimes has 566 yards receiving and six touchdowns. UNLV has six touchdown passes of 50 or more yards this season.

Hawaii won last year's game 35-28, and UNLV won the previous three meetings. Hawaii leads the all-time series 16-12.

UNLV has struggled all year long and it will continue in this game here. The Warriors have a very powerful offense that is able to bring home the strong game here that is going to make the Rebels run for them the entire game. What else does not help the Rebels out is the fact the Warriors defense has been playing good as well which can counteract anything the Rebels would have liked to have seen. Final Score Prediction, Hawaii Warriors win and cover ATS 38-14.
