Fresno State vs Wyoming Picks and Prediction – 10/8/2023

The Fresno State Bulldogs will take a road trip this week to Wyoming for a game against the Wyoming Cowboys. Defensively Fresno State did the job against Nevada allowing just nine points on 220 total yards and forced two turnovers in the game. Offensively the Bulldogs were the better team scoring 27 points on 410 yards. Mike Keene dominated the game completing 26 passes for 269 yards and two scores. Malik Sherrod led the way on the ground for Fresno State with 123 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries.

The Wyoming Cowboys continue a homestand this week with four wins with their first five games played riding a two game win streak following their nine point victory against New Mexico. The Wyoming defense struggled a bit against New Mexico giving up 417 total yards and 26 points but forced two turnovers to secure the win. Offensively the Cowboys were the better team with 433 yards resulting in 35 points after a 23 point second half.

Andrew Peasley led the show for Wyoming in their last game completing 16 passes for 194 yards and one score. Harrison Waylee led the team with 191 yards and one touchdown on 18 carries, while quarterback Andrew Peasley chipped in 34 yards and one touchdown in the game. Ayir Asante was the top receiver in the game with 72 yards and one touchdown on two receptions.
