Florida Atlantic comes into 2021 after a 5-4 2020 season in which the team lost the final 3 games. FAU added QB N'Kosi Perry from Miami to an offense that returns most of the team. FAU has the experience and weapons to move the ball against anyone and will do so in this game and throughout the Conference USA schedule.
Defensively FAU has basically everyone back as well which will make them stout at every position on the field. FAU wont have the talent of Florida but will have enough guys with experience and reps to keep them in this game. The FAU defense will be a force to be reckoned with in the conference this season and it starts week 1 agains an SEC foe.
Florida lost a lot on the offensive side of the ball and will probably need a few weeks to get going. The Gators have plenty of offensive talent led by QB Emory Jones. Jones will fill in for the recently departed Kyle Trask but has the ability and weapons around him to shine this year in the SEC.
Defensively the Gators will be a force all year led by one of the best linebacker groups in the nation. The Gators defense is stout and deep at all positions and will gang tackle all over the field. A massive defensive line will lead the way and open holes for the Linebacker group to lead this defense to success in 2021.
