Eastern Washington at Oregon 9/10/22 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The Eastern Washington Eagles visit Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon on Saturday to play the No.11 Oregon Ducks. Eastern Washington is 1-0 following its 36-29 victory over Tennessee State on Saturday. The Eagles scored a late touchdown with 2:39 to play to pick up the win. Eastern Washington gained 474 yards of total offense but the Eagles defense gave up far too much, allowing 547 yards of total offense to Tennessee State.

Quarterback Gunner Talkington has passed for 348 yards with five touchdowns. Talkington is also the leading rusher for Eastern Washington with 60 yards. The leading receiver is Freddie Roberson with 91 yards, while Efton Chism III has two touchdown receptions. On defense Mitchell Johnson is the leading tackler with 11 and is also the leader in quarterback sacks with 2.0.

Oregon was embarrassed in its season opener by George 49-3 and is 0-1. Oregon fell behind 28-3 at the half and could not do anything in the second half. The Ducks gained 313 yards of total offense and committed two turnovers while giving up 571 yards of total offense to Georgia. Oregon's pass defense gave up three touchdowns while the rush defense gave up  four. 

Oregon quarterback Bo Nix has passed for 173 yards and two interceptions. Nix is the leading rusher with 37 yards, while Sean Dollars has rushed for 33 yards. Terrance Ferguson is the leading receiver with 37 yards. On defense, Jamal Hill is the leading tackler with 11, while Justin Flowe has 10. Oregon did not have a quarterback sack or an interception in the opening game.
