The Raycom Media Camellia Bowl will take place on Saturday, when the Eastern Michigan Eagles take on the Georgia Southern Eagles.

Georgia Southern won consecutive games to close out the season and finished with nine victories overall. Last time out, Georgia Southern built a 28 point lead after three quarters and cruised to a 35-14 victory versus Georgia State. Wesley Field rushed for 151 yards and a touchdown for the Eagles.

Through twelve games, Georgia Southern ranks ninth in the country in rushing offense and is scoring 31.1 points on average. Eastern Michigan struggles against the run, allowing 193 yards and 22 points per game. The Eastern Michigan Eagles won seven games during the regular season and finished second in the MAC Conference West Division. In their last contest, Eastern Michigan forced three turnovers during a 28-20 road triumph at Kent State. Senior RB Ian Eriksen rushed for 118 yards and three touchdowns for the Eagles, who gained 366 yards of total offense on the night.

For the season, Eastern Michigan ranks 89th in total offense and is scoring 27.5 points per contest. Georgia State owns an underrated defense than ranks 44th in the country in yards allowed and allows 21.6 points per game.

This will be the first meeting between the two schools. Both teams come in with a defensive mindset, so the under is worth a possible look.
