The rushing offense for Old Dominion picked up 108 yards on 34 carries with a touchdown. The defense for Old Dominion allowed 114 yards in the air, but was killed on the ground giving up 174 yards and 2 touchdowns while facing only 56 rushes.

Old Dominion looked very impressive in the opening week of the season and took South Carolina to the limit. Still, the Monarchs have to reproduce that type of effort in the second week of the year and we think that is what will happen. The Pirates are simply missing the consistent punch against good teams and has been for a while, which is what makes it easier to see Old Dominion pick up the win.
