College football typically goes by year after year without really making much in the way of splashes in the news. However, with the lack of news going on in the sports world the transfers have started to make some good splashes. Well, with that being the case, here are the top transfers that can play immediately for the major positions.

The quarterback situation, seen a highly touted quarterback out of high school in KJ Costello. He is transferring from Stanford and heading to Mississippi State in what was a shocking transfer. However, at 6’5” and 222 pounds Costello could definitely have an immediate impact on the game.

Trey Sermon is one of the bigger names at running back and is leaving Oklahoma. He is leaving Oklahoma and actually is heading to Ohio State. Sermon is not nearly as big of a recruit as he was coming out of high school, but he does have a good sized frame that should work out really well in the Big  Ten at 6’0” and 222 pounds.

Dee Anderson is heading to Oklahoma State which could hurt his stock as a wide receiver. He is ranked decent, but he is coming out of LSU which will help him out quite a bit. Hopefully Anderson is able to continue to live up to his high school potential, but at 6’5” and 202 pounds he definitely provides a tall target.

Kenny Yeboah is heading to Ole Miss and is the top rated tight end when it comes to his chances of making an impact. Granted, Ole Miss does not have as big of a passing game as some of the other teams he could have transferred to, but he definitely can make an impact. What else helps Yeboah out quite a bit is the fact that he is 6’5” and 240 pounds, which that size alone may offer comparisons to Gronkowski.

The top rated exterior offensive lineman is Coy Cronk. Cronk is going to Iowa and with his size could be a great fit for the Hawkeyes. Cronk is coming in at 6’5” and 321 pounds. Cronk has improved his hand speed and footwork, but also added some great power to his arms.

Stewart Reese is the top rated interior lineman that is transferring. Reese is coming in with a huge body at 6’5” and 340 pounds. That size alone is quite large, but it is going to help to make a difference in how well he is able to transition to Florida.
