On defense, Silas Kelly was the leading tackler with 95 and Josaiah Stewart was the leader in quarterback sacks with 12.5.

Coastal Carolina won 10 of its 12 games this season and lost by a combined five points in its two losses to Appalachian State and Georgia State. The Chanticleers have allowed an average of only 20.0 points per game and are scoring an average of 20.4 points more per game at 40.4.
