The reigning Sun Belt Player of the Year Grayson McCall will again be under center to run an explosive triple option offense. McCall contributed 3000+ all purpose yards and 30 touchdowns to a Chanticleers offense loaded with weapons. Despite losing starting running back Cj Marable to the NFL the Chanticleers will return a 2 back tandem in Shermari Jones and Reese White who combined for nearly 1000 yards a year ago.
The Coastal defense lost the Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year Tarron Jackson to the NFL but will welcome back the other 10 starters from an elite defense in 2020. Coastal will be led by two 2020 Sun Belt All Conference players and Defensive Newcomer of the year in D'Jordan strong to lead the defense into 2021.
Coastal Carolina has all the tools to make a lot of noise around the College Football world in 2021.
