Defensively Troy faltered a bit allowing 19 points on 259 total yards but held Arkansas State scoreless in the 4th to get the win. Offensively Troy struggled early on but scored 34 points in the fourth quarter and totaled 412 yards for the game to get the victory.

Gunnar Watson led the way for the Troy offense completing 9 of 15 passes for 144 yards and one score in the game. Kimani Vidal led all ball carriers in the game with 208 yards and four touchdowns on 33 carries and Damien Tyler added in 12 yards and one touchdown on 4 carries as well. RaJae’ Johnson led the way for the Troy receivers with 101 yards and one touchdown on three receptions.
