Clemson at Boston College 10/8/22 - College Football Picks & Predictions

Alumni Stadium will play host to a Saturday night ACC battle between the Clemson Tigers and the Boston College Eagles. The fifth-ranked Tigers (5-0) are much improved on offense and are averaging 41 points per game. On Saturday, Clemson limited NC State to 279 yards and forced two turnovers during a 30-20 home victory.

QB D.J. Uiagalelei gave Clemson a 13-10 lead on a one-yard touchdown run with 31 seconds remaining in the first half. Uiagalelei added 73 rushing yards and put the game away with a nine-yard fourth quarter touchdown scamper.

The Boston College Eagles stumbled out of the gate with losses in three of their first four games and surrendering 28.6 points per contest. Last week, kicker Connor Lyton connected on two field goals in the fourth quarter to lift Boston College to a 34-33 home victory versus Louisville. The Eagles gained 448 yards of total offense and won despite turning the ball over three times.

Boston College QB Phil Jurkovec completed 18 of 21 passes for 304 yards and three touchdowns. Zay Flowers hauled in five catches for 151 yards and two scores for the Eagles.
