Cincinnati at Tulsa 10/17/20 - College Football Picks & Predictions

Last Updated: 10/13/2020 at 2:22 PM ET

In Saturday afternoon college football action, the Cincinnati Bearcats will travel to Chapman Stadium to tackle the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. The 11th ranked Bearcats have won three straight games to start the season and are expected to challenge for an American Conference Championship. Last time out, Cincinnati forced five turnovers during a 28-7 home victory versus South Florida.

Senior RB Gerrid Doaks carried the load for Cincinnati with 102 yards rushing and a touchdown. Desmond Ridder threw for 142 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions.

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane have split their first two games and could surprise some people in the American Conference race. After narrowly falling at Oklahoma State in their season opener, Tulsa bounced back with an impressive 34-26 road victory over UCF. The Golden Hurricane forced three turnovers and were outgained by a 455-438 margin.

Senior QB Zach Smith completed 17 of his 29 passes for 273 yards and three touchdowns. T.K. Wilkerson handled 22 carries for 86 yards and a score for the Golden Hurricane.

This has been an extremely competitive series throughout the years and Cincinnati earned a hard fought 24-13 home victory versus Tulsa a season ago. Both defenses are good and the under is my lean on the total. The stronger play is on Cincinnati to pull away late to cover, thanks to Bearcats very good run game and defense. Final Score Prediction, Cincinnati Bearcats win and cover ATS 31-13.
