Charlotte at Western Kentucky 10/19/19 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The Charlotte 49ers visit L.T. Smith Stadium in Bowling Green, Kentucky to play the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. Charlotte lost its third straight after falling to FIU on Saturday 48-23. Benny LeMay rushed for 144 yards and one touchdown to lead the 49ers in the loss. The 49ers defense gave up three second quarter touchdowns and the offense could not response. 

Western Kentucky won its second straight and improved to 4-2 following a 17-8 hard fought battle over the Army Black Knights. Ty Storey scored two touchdowns on quarterback sneaks for the Hilltoppers and the Western Kentucky defense shut down the running game of Army. Western Kentucky held Army scoreless until 1:41 was left in the fourth quarter. The defense allowed Army just 137 yards rushing. 

Chris Reynolds leads Charlotte in passing with 952 yards, 11 touchdowns and five interceptions. Benny LeMay is the leading rusher with 622 yards rushing and five touchdowns. Cameron Dollar leads all receivers with 269 yards and two touchdowns. The leading tackler for the 49ers is Marquavis Gibbs with 49.

Ty Storey leads the Hilltoppers with 522 yards passing, three touchdowns and one interception. Gaej Walker leads Western Kentucky in rushing with 558 yards and four touchdowns. Jahcour Pearson is the leading receiver with 316 yards and three touchdowns. The leading tackler for Western Kentucky is DeAngelo Malone with 53.
