Central Michigan at Toledo 10/1/22 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The Central Michigan Chippewa will continue a road trip this week as they travel to Toledo, OH for a match up with the Toledo Rockets. Central Michigan comes into this game struggling at 1-3 on the year following a 19 point loss to Penn State. Offensively Central Michigan moved the ball well accumulating 363 total yards including 275 through the air but turned the ball over four times leading to the loss.

Quarterback Daniel Richardson was dominant for Central Michigan completing 26 of 45 passes for 235 yards and two scores. Carlos Carriere led the way for the Central Michigan receivers with 111 yards on 11 receptions and Joel Wilson chipped in 59 yards and one score on five catches as well.

The Toledo Rockets go back home this week on a 2 game losing streak after a 3 point loss to San Diego State. Offensively Toledo was the better team totaling 376 yards and 256 through the air but four turnovers led to the loss.

Dequan Finn orchestrated the Toledo offensive attack completing 21 of 34 passes for 241 yards and one score and back up Tucker Gleason with 1-6 for 14 yards as well. DaMeer Blankumsee was the biggest threat in the Toledo offense hauling in eight passes for 112 yards and Devon Maddox added six catches for 43 yards as well.
