Central Michigan vs South Alabama Picks and Prediction – 9/23/2023

Defensively the Chippewas were obliterated giving up 41 points on 578 total yards including 342 through the air. Jase Bauer led the way for the Central Michigan offense completing 10 passes for 137 yards and ran the ball 13 times for 16 yards and one score. Myles Bailey was the top ball carrier for Central Michigan with 59 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries, while Jesse Prewitt III added 59 yards on two receptions to lead Central Michigan.

The South Alabama Jaguars return home this week on a two game win streak after a 26 point blowout win over Oklahoma State. Defensively South Alabama was stout allowing just seven points on 208 total yards and forced two turnovers in the game. The Jaguars offense controlled the game compiling 395 yards including 243 on the ground resulting in 33 total points in the game.

Quarterback Carter Bradley led the way for South Alabama completing 10 passes for 152 yards in the game. La’Damian Webb had a team leading 151 yards and two scores on 18 carries. Kentrel Bullock chipped in on the ground for South Alabama as well with 71 yards on 18 carries.
