Central Michigan at Northern Illinois 9/15/18 - CFB Picks & Predictions

Central Michigan looks like they have already lost hope on the season. The Chippewas are 0-2 on the season so far and are not really starting to pick up much at all in the way off offensive production as between the two games the Chippewas have only scored 27 points. The defense for the Chippewas has been playing really poorly as well by giving up 66 points in the games so far.

In the last outing against the Jayhawks the Chippewas seen Tony Poljan have to lead the Chippewas offense as he threw for 177 yards and a touchdown, but had 4 picks as well. However, Poljan was running a lot as well with 10 carries for only 43 yards. Northern Illinois is a team that is 0-2 on the year so far. However, the Huskies are a team that could bounce back from the losses they have had on the season so far. The losses the Huskies have experienced have been close losses, which is quite a bit better than the Chippewas.

In the last outing the Huskies were beat by the Utes by a score of 17-6, but it was an interception return for a touchdown that sealed the game for the Utes. The game seen Marcus Childers throw the ball for 111 yards, but also had a pick that cost the Huskies the game. Tre Harbison carried the ball 13 times for 63 yards in the game.

The Northern Illinois team has been playing really well, but come up short on a couple of the games. What is even worse if it had not been for a pick 6 towards the end of the game killing a Huskies drive they would have won over the Utes. Look for the mistakes to be avoided and the Chippewas defense to be horrible in this game again. Final Score Prediction, Northern Illinois Huskies win and cover ATS 35-10.
