The Akron Zips have lost three of their last four games including last week 34-21 against Miami Ohio giving them a 2-5 record on the year. Defensively Akron struggled immensely allowing 474 total yards as 245 came on the ground. Jeslord Boateng let all Akron defenders with 9 tackles in the game, while Andrew Behm and Bryce Wilson added six tackles each.

Zach Gibson led the Akron offense against Miami completing 25 of 39 passes for 291 yards and 3 touchdowns. Konata Mumpfied led all Zips receivers with 10 catches for 109 yards, while Andre Williams added 3 for 72 yards and 1 touchdown.

The Buffalo Bulls have struggled this year but are the better team in this matchup and it will show from the opening kickoff.
