The Bowling Green Falcons visit Kelly/Shorts Stadium in Mount Pleasant, Michigan on Saturday for a Mid-American Conference battle with the Central Michigan Chippewas. Bowling Green improved to 3-4 overall and 2-1 in MAC play following its 17-13 victory over Miami (OH) on Saturday. Bowling Green trailed 13-7 in the third quarter but outscored the Redhawks 10-3 in the second half to win by six. Matt McDonald passed for 149 yards with one interception for the Falcons.

Central Michigan improved to 2-5 overall and 1-2 in MAC play following its 28-21 victory over the Akron Zips on Saturday. Central Michigan gained 337 yards of total offense and committed one turnover while holding Akron to 287 yards and one turnover. Central Michigan’s Thomas Incoom recovered a fumble and raced 63 yards for a touchdown that broke a tie with only 1:50 remaining to play in the game. 

Central Michigan quarterback Daniel Richardson has thrown for 1,724 yards with 13 touchdowns and four interceptions. The leading rusher is Lew Nichols III with 460 yards and 26 touchdowns, while the leading receiver is Carlos Carriere with 394 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, linebacker Kyle Moretti is the leading tackler with 52. Central Michigan has 18 quarterback sacks and two interceptions. 

Although Bowling Green was victorious this past weekend over Miami (OH), the Falcons have had major problems on defense, allowing an average of 41.0 points per game which is 15.3 points more per game than the Falcons are scoring. Central Michigan has won 12 of its  last 17 straight up at home and over that stretch were 11-8 ATS. Central Michigan is coming off a win over Akron and will be at home.
