The No. 12 ranked Auburn Tigers visit Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Saturday to play the Arkansas Razorbacks. Auburn had a bye this past week and had plenty of time to fix its problems following the Tigers 24-13 loss to Florida prior to the bye week. In the loss, Bo Nix threw for 145 yards and one touchdown but was picked off three times. The Tigers were held to 269 total yards of offense and 12 first downs while committing four turnovers.
Arkansas fell to 2-4 on the season following its 24-20 loss to Kentucky. The Razorbacks led 13-0 in the second quarter and at the half 13-7 but were outscored 17-7 after the break. Rakeem Boyd had 134 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns in the loss for Arkansas. The loss was Arkansas’ 14th straight in SEC play. Ben Hicks took over for starting quarterback Nick Starkel and could start on Saturday.
Auburn’s Bo Nix has passed for 1,125 yards, eight touchdowns and five interceptions and rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns. Running back JaTarvious Whitlow is the leading rusher with 544 yards and seven touchdowns for the Tigers. The leading receiver for Auburn is Seth Williams with 368 yards and five touchdowns. The leading tackler is Jeremiah Dinson with 43.
Nick Starkel leads Arkansas in passing with 1,060 yards, seven touchdowns and seven interceptions. The leading rusher for the Razorbacks is Rakeem Boyd with 617 yards and five touchdowns. Trey Knox is the leading receiver with 323 yards and two touchdowns. Kamren Curl leads Arkansas in tackles with 44.
