The Black Knights (8-3) are riding a four-game winning streak and rank second nationally in rushing offense (301.2 ypg). Last time out, Army built a 21-point halftime lead and coasted to a 31-16 road victory against Liberty.
Army RB Jakobi Buchanan carried the load on the ground with 80 yards rushing and three touchdowns. Christian Anderson threw a 34-yard touchdown strike to Christian Anderson to give the Black Knights a 10-0 first quarter lead.
The Navy Midshipmen have dropped 15 of their 21 games over the last two seasons and rank seventh in the country in rushing offense (228.8 ypg). In their American Conference season finale, Navy forced three turnovers during a 3814 road triumph against Temple. The Midshipmen (3-8) rushed for 211 yards on 60 carries and possessed the ball for more than 37 minutes.
Carlinos Acie put Navy on the scoreboard first with an 11-yard first quarter touchdown run. Chance Warren caught two touchdown passes for the Midshipmen.
