Arkansas at Texas A&M 9/24/22 - College Football Picks & Predictions

AT&T Stadium will play host to a Saturday night SEC clash between the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Texas A&M Aggies. The 10th ranked Razorbacks (3-0) rank 10th nationally in rushing offense (243.7 ypg) and are averaging 37.7 points per game. On Saturday, Arkansas outscored FCS Missouri State by 18 points during the fourth quarter to rally for a 38-27 home victory. 

Arkansas took a 31-27 lead with nine minutes remaining on an 82-yard punt return for a touchdown by Bryce Stephens. K.J. Jefferson contributed 385 yards through the air and two scored for Razorbacks.

The Texas A&M Aggies were upset at home by Appalachian State and have been unable to generate consistent offense. On Saturday, Texas A&M leaned on their defense during a 17-9 home victory versus 13th ranked Miami. The 22nd ranked Aggies (2-1) led by 14 points early in the third quarter and were outgained by a 392-264 margin.

LSU transfer QB Max Johnson made his first start of the season and connected on a 25 yard touchdown pass to Devon Achane. Ainias Smith added 74 receiving yards on four catches for the Aggies.

Texas A&M had won nine straight in this series, until Arkansas broke through last season with a 20-10 victory. The Aggies are impressive on defense and the Razorbacks have lost star DB Jalen Catalon (shoulder) for the season. Take Texas A&M to win and cover.
