Arizona at Washington 10/15/22 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The Arizona Wildcats go back on the road this week as they travel to Seattle, WA for a game against the Washington Huskies. Arizona comes into their seventh game of the season at an even 3-3 overall following a 27 point blowout loss at home against Oregon. Defensively Arizona was obliterated as Oregon totaled 580 yards to score 49 total points in the game.

The Arizona offense was mediocre against Oregon as the Wildcats accumulated 356 yards but turned the ball over three times resulting in only 22 points. Quarterback Jayden de Laura led the way for the Arizona offense completing 24 of 42 passes for 241 yards and one score. Jonah Coleman led all Arizona ball carriers with 74 yards on 9 carries and DJ Williams added 55 yards and one touchdown on six carries as well.

The Washington Huskies return home this week with four wins through six games riding a 2 game losing streak following a seven point loss against Arizona State. The Washington offense moved the ball extremely well with 458 total yards including 324 through the air but converted only seven of 14 third downs resulting in the loss.

Michal Penix Jr. orchestrated the Washington offense completing 33 of 53 passes for 311 yards. Cameron Davis dominated on the ground for Washington with 77 yards and three touchdowns on 9 carries, while Wayne Taulapapa added 51 yards and one score on 12 carries as well.
