Alabama vs Vanderbilt Picks and Prediction – 10/5/2024

In Saturday afternoon college football action, the Alabama Crimson Tide will invade FirstBank Stadium to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores. In the first overtime, the Commodores (2-2) took a 27-20 lead on a two-yard touchdown pass from Diego Pavia to Gabe Fisher. 

Pavia completed 14 of 23 passes for 178 yards to go along with 84 rushing yards. The Commodores jumped on the scoreboard first with a 65-yard touchdown reception by Joseph McVay. Vanderbilt committed eight penalties for 93 yards and went 4-for-14 on third down. 

Alabama has reeled off 12 straight victories against Vanderbilt, including a dominant 55-3 home victory in 2022. The Crimson Tide are coming off an emotional victory and are allowing close to 120 yards per game on the ground.
