The Saturday college football schedule will kick off with a matchup between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Mississippi State Bulldogs from Davis Wade Stadium. The Mississippi State Bulldogs have lost five of their nine games and will need two victories over the final three weeks to become bowl eligible. Last time out, Mississippi State built a 24-point halftime lead and cruised to a 54-24 road victory against Arkansas. The Bulldogs rolled up a season-high 640 yards of total offense and forced two turnovers on the day.

Mississippi State RB Kylin Hill carried the ball 21 times for 234 yards and three touchdowns. Nick Gibson added 129 yards and a score on the ground for the Bulldogs.
