SEC West Division foes will square off on Saturday night, when the Alabama Crimson Tide travel to Death Valley to take on the LSU Tigers. Last week, Alabama played without head coach Nick Saban (COVID) during a 42-13 home victory versus Auburn in the Iron Bowl. The top-ranked Crimson Tide built an 18-point halftime lead and gained 445 yards of total offense on the day.

Alabama QB Mac Jones continued his Heisman Trophy caliber play with 302 yards and five touchdowns. DeVonta Smith hauled in seven passes for 171 yards and two scores.

The defending National Champion LSU Tigers lost QB Joe Burrow to the NFL and have regressed in a big way. The Tigers (3-4) are allowing 30.3 points on average and have played three different quarterbacks. On Saturday, LSU turned the ball over three times and managed just 267 yards of total offense during a 20-7 road loss against Texas A&M.

Freshman QB TJ Finley was an ugly 9-for-25 for 118 yards and threw a pick-six in the third quarter. LSU WR Terrace Marshall Jr. caught ten passes for 134 yards and the only score.
