Wyoming (2-1) knocked off Northern Colorado, 33-10, Saturday but failed to cover as a -24.5 favorite at home. The Cowboys opened the season losing 38-6 at Illinois before getting a 40-37 double-overtime victory at home against Tulsa.

Titus Swen scored three times on the ground in Wyoming’s win over Northern Colorado, running the ball 15 times for 76 yards. Quarterback Andrew Peasley completed 19 of 30 passes for 144 yards as Wyatt Wieland led the way with five receptions for 53 yards. Joshua Cobbs and Parker Christensen also had five catches for 44 and 31 yards, respectively.

Swen now has 214 yards rushing for the season. Peasley has connected on 44 of 80 passes for 430 yards and two touchdowns and has thrown one interception over the first three games. Cobbs is the Cowboys’ leading receiver with 12 catches for 135 yards and a score.

Air Force (2-0) beat Colorado, 41-10, in Week 2 as a -17.5 home favorite. The Falcons beat Northern Iowa, 48-17, in the season opener.

Air Force had just eight yards passing against Colorado but ran for 443. Haaziq Daniels completed one of five passes for those eight yards, but he ran the ball nine times for 29 yards and a touchdown. Brad Roberts was the leading rusher with 24 carries for 174 yards and three touchdowns. John Lee Eldridge III ran eight times for 88 yards and a score.

Roberts now has rushed 32 times for 288 yards and four touchdowns. Daniels has carried the ball 21 times for 136 and two scores while also completing four of 11 pass attempts for 117 yards and a touchdown. Dane Kinamon has two catches for 88 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown reception against Northern Iowa.

Air Force coach Troy Calhoun, now in his 16th season leading the Falcons, prefers a dominant ground attack to aerial superiority. The Falcons ran for 328.2 yards a game last season compared to throwing just 96 yards a contest. This season has started similarly. Illinois was able to run at will on the Cowboys in the season opener, so there is good reason to expect Air Force will be successful on the ground again. Final Score Prediction: Air Force wins and covers 36-17.
