Air Force at Utah State 10/8/22 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The Air Force Falcons go back on the road this week too Logan, UT to take on the Utah State Aggies. Utah State comes  into this game with four wins through their first five games played riding a two game win streak after a 3 point win over Navy. Defensively Air Force dominated Navy holding the midshipmen to only 243 yards and 10 points in the game.

Offensively Air Force controlled the game totaling 356 yards including 200 on the ground to score 13 points in the game. Haaziq Daniels orchestrated the Air Force offense completing six of eight passes for 156 yards and one touchdown. Brad Roberts led the way on the ground for Navy with 108 yards on 23 carries and David Cormier added 120 yards and one score on three receptions.

The Utah State Aggies return home this week struggling this season with a 1-4 record overall riding a four-game losing streak after a 12 point loss to BYU. Defensively Utah State struggled as BYU accumulated 397 yards including 280 through the air to score 38 points in the game. Offensively Utah State moved the ball well with nearly 400 yards but turned the ball over three times in the last.

Quarterback Cooper Legas continued to struggle under center for Utah State completing only 19 of 31 passes for 188 yards and two scores and ran the ball 19 times for 52 yards and one touchdown as well. Brian Cobbs led all receivers for Utah State with 96 yards and two touchdowns on 10 catches.
