Air Force at UNLV 10/15/22 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The Air Force Falcons will continue a road trip out west this week as they visit Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to take on the UNLV Rebels. The Falcons are 4-2 thus far this season following a 7 point loss to Utah State that ended a 2 game win streak. Defensively Air Force struggled as Utah State accumulated more than 400 total yards to score 34 points in the game including 21 in the second-half leading to the Air Force loss.

Offensively Air Force moved the ball well compiling 359 total yards to score 27 points but turn the ball over two times as well. Haaziq Daniels completed only five of 12 passes for 95 yards and one touchdown but ran the ball 10 times for 35 yards and one score as well. Brad Roberts led all ball carriers in the game with 29 carries for 136 yards and one touchdown.

The UNLV Rebels return home this week 4-2 on the year following a 33 point blowout loss to San Jose State that ended a 3 game win streak. Defensively the Rebels were obliterated as San Jose State totaled over 430 yards to score 40 points in the game.

Offensively UNLV struggled scoring only seven points after being shut out in 3 quarters on 213 total yards. Quarterback Cameron Friel led the way for the UNLV offense completing 15 of 22 passes for 153 yards and one score. Aidan Robbins led the way on the ground for the Rebels with 55 yards on 13 carries and Senika McKie added 55 yards and one touchdown on three receptions.

Both teams coming to this game playing well this season as each will look to continue that trend. Air Force should do enough to get the road win, but UNLV has the talent and depth to keep this game close. Look for Air Force to pull off the road win but UNLV will stay well within the nearly double digit spread. Final Score Prediction, Air Force wins but UNLV covers 31-24.
