The kicking game is one aspect of the college game that can make or break the games. If the kicker misses the field goal at the end it could easily lead to a loss by his team, but if the kicker nails the kick at the end of the game it could lead to the team getting a new hero. No matter what the kickers are one position that never gets the credit it deserves when it comes to the recruiting game, but here are the top 5 kicking recruits for college.

Jared Zirkel is coming out o Tivy, which is located in Kerrville, Texas. The recruit is not staying in Texas like a lot of the fans would have liked to have seen. Instead, he is heading to Georgia and that is going to help the Bulldogs out tremendously as he has quite a bit of power and at 6’3” 185 pounds he will not end up being missed on the field.

Jack Olsen is coming out of Wheaton Warrenville South, which is actually located in Wheaton, Illinois. He is a little bit on the shorter side at 5’11 and only weighs in at 170 pounds. However, instead of staying in Illinois like the Fighting Illini would have liked, he is going to be a Spartan at Michigan State to fake on the likes of the Buckeyes and the Illini.

Luke Akers is heading out of Ravenwood which is located in Brentwood, Tennessee. Akers is coming in at 6’2” and 170 pounds. However, Akers is taking a long trip across the country as he has committed to playing for UCLA this year.

Jake Seibert is coming out of La Salle which is located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Seibert is actually going to be heading to Ohio State this year and that will definitely help the Buckeyes out this fall as their kicking game was a little bit slacking. Seibert is 6’1” and weighs in at 190 pounds, which is a decent size frame for a kicker.

Joshua Karty is coming out of Western Alamance which is located in Elon, North Carolina. He is coming in at 6’2” and 175 pounds. Karty does have a very strong leg that is fairly accurate as well. Karty is heading to Stanford this fall and should definitely help the Cardinal out this year in the fall.
