The climate of the SEC is definitely turning on the  year and that could make it a very interesting point as the Crimson Tide were unseated last year by the eventual champions in LSU. However, the other teams that are in the SEC are going to have to really start to build upon some of their success as the dominance of Alabama has drawn the SEC into the main spotlight like it has been for quite a while, but also has helped to draw a lot of 4 and 5 star recruits to the other teams.

LSU is one team that has started to show why the team should be considered a favorite each year after the performance the team had last year on the field. However, the Tigers did lose quite a bit of talent on the year and that could really make it very difficult for the LSU team to come into the year and be as highly competitive as the team was last season.

Florida and Georgia are both teams that last year could have been able to do quite a bit better than what the team did last year. However, the Bulldogs did end up losing a lot of their talent to the draft. Not to mention Georgia now has to figure out how to replace Jake Fromm who has been one of the best quarterbacks for Georgia in recent memory. Look for the Gators to really look good at times, but the Gators are one team that should be able to do decent and improve some on the year.

Vanderbilt and Missouri are a couple of teams that could have some issues in the SEC this year as these two teams have struggled at times on the years past. The recruiting for these two teams is slowly starting to improve, but these two teams have not really reached the level that will make them competitive in the SEC.

While the SEC is one conference that has a lot of powerhouse schools, it is also a conference this year that sent a ton of players to the draft. The one team that is already a favorite to win the SEC is not going to be LSU, who lost a lot of players to the draft and mainly leadership players. Instead, it will be Alabama who did lose some players, but the Crimson Tide have a great recruiting class that is coming in and will be able to help make up the difference in the loss. SEC Champion Prediction, Alabama Crimson Tide.
