The Xavier Musketeers visit Mizzou Arena in Columbia, Missouri on Tuesday to play the Missouri Tigers. Xavier is now 7-4 on the season following a 95-77 win over Eastern Kentucky. The Musketeers were led in the rout by Zach Hankes who scored 11 straight and Quentin Goodin was the catalyst on the fast break that helped Xavier pull away early and coast to victory.
Missouri improved to 6-3 on the season following an 80-64 won over Oral Roberts. The Tigers were led by Mark Smith with 14 points helping the Tigers to their third straight victory. Missouri hit 12 of its 26 shots from downtown. Foul trouble bothered three of the Tigers big men, but all three weathered the storm and did not foul out.
Naji Marshall is the leading scorer and second leading rebounder for Xavier with averages of 13.2 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. Three other players are averaging double figures in scoring.
