Xavier is in danger of falling to the five hundred mark on the year and playing on the road the Musketeers have not been good at all as they are sitting at 1-4 on the year. The Musketeers are a team that has had a lot of close games on the year, but they have fallen short and that is because of the amount of talent the Xavier squad lost from last year and they are still developing the younger talent.
The Muskies, who are 3-5 in the Big East, have relied on Paul Scruggs who has scored 13.3 points a game. The Muskies have ended up getting 4.9 assist from Quentin Goodin. When it comes to rebounding the Xavier team has been able to get able to get 7.6 boards a game from Tyrique Jones.
Georgetown has had some problems in the Big East, but even at a 3-4 record for conference play the Hoyas are still sitting in third place. The downside is just a few losses could easily lead to the Hoyas falling all the way back to the last place position, which is occupied by Xavier. So the Hoyas are definitely falling into one of those must win type of categories.
With the Hoyas they have been able to rely on Jessie Govan who has put in a total of 19.8 points a game. James Akinjo has been able to get 5.3 assist a game on the year so far. The Hoyas have been able to get 8.2 boards a game from Govan as well.
