In the second game of an opening night NCAA Tournament doubleheader, the Indiana Hoosiers will battle the Wyoming Cowboys. The Hoosiers (20-13) received an at-large bid by advancing to the Big Ten Conference semifinals and are allowing 65.9 points per game. On Saturday, Indiana was unable to make the plays down the stretch of an 80-77 loss versus Iowa.
Indiana F Trayce Jackson-Davis tallied a team-high 31 points on 15-for-21 shooting and grabbed ten rebounds. Xavier Johnson added 20 points and nine assists for the Hoosiers.
The Wyoming Cowboys won 13 of their 18 Mountain West Conference games and are allowing 65.5 points per contest. On Friday, Wyoming trailed by 14 points at halftime during a 68-61 loss against Boise State in the conference tournament semifinals. The Cowboys (25-8) missed 18 of their 25 three-point attempts and turned the ball over 16 times.
Wyoming F Graham Ike tallied a team-high 18 points on 8-for-15 shooting and pulled down six boards. Hunter Maldonado and Drake Jeffries added 17 points each for the Cowboys.
