On Friday, West Virginia rallied from a ten-point second half deficit to score a 70-64 victory against Western Kentucky.

West Virginia F Derrick Culver matched a game-high with 15 points on 7-for-12 from the field. Miles McBride chipped in 14 points and three assists for the Mountaineers.

On Friday, top-ranked Gonzaga built a 14-point halftime lead and cruised to a 90-67 victory versus Auburn in the Rocket Mortgage Fort Myers Tip-Off. The Bulldogs outrebounded the Tigers by a 44-32 margin and shot 53 percent from the field.

Gonzaga big man Drew Timme poured in a game-high 28 points on 11-for-16 shooting and grabbed ten rebounds. Corey Kispert contributed 25 points and six rebounds for the Bulldogs.
