WVU at Kansas State 1/18/20 - College Basketball Picks & Predictions

The No.12 ranked West Virginia Mountaineers will visit Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan, Kansas on Saturday to play the Kansas State Wildcats in a Big 12 tilt. West Virginia improved its overall record to 14-3 and it's record in the Big 12 to 3-1 following an 81-41 thrashing of the TCU Horned Frogs Wednesday night. Derek Culver led the Mountaineers with 17 points in the 32-point rout.

Oscar Tshiebwe leads the Mountaineers in scoring with an average of 11.8 points per game, while Derek Culver is the second leading scorer and  leading rebounder with averages of 10.8 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. Gabe Osabuohien leads the Mountaineers in assists with an average of 2.2 per game.  West Virginia has three players averaging double figures in scoring.

Kansas State dropped to 7-9 overall and 0-4 in the Big 12 following its 77-63 loss to the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Tuesday. The Wildcats are just one of two teams in the Big 12 that remain winless in conference play. Cartier Diarra led Kansas State in the loss with 19 points and Xavier Sneed chipped in with 14, as Kansas State lost to Texas Tech for just the second time at home since 2007.

Xavier Sneed is the leading scorer and rebounder for the Wildcats with averages of 14.6 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. Cartier Diarra is the second leading scorer and leader in assists with averages of 12.6 points and 5.5 assists per game. Sneed  and Diarra are the only two players for the Wildcats averaging double figures in scoring.
