West Virginia is ranked 20th in the latest poll, and still in contention for the Big 12 title as the season is in the home stretch. Baylor is barely a bubble team in playoff consideration, but its hard to go against the Bears in this setting as they host West Virginia on Tuesday.

Baylor lost at West Virginia by three, and the Bears rebounded and have been rolling since then. Baylor has won its last five games and is 6-4 since beating West Virginia. The Bears have wins over Kansas and Texas Tech in that stretch. Four of those five wins were by five points or less.

West Virginia has gone in the other direction since it beat Baylor. The Mountaineers are 3-8 since then, but they are 3-2 over the last five. West Virginia was 15-1 after being Baylor. West Virginia is averaging 80.5 points per game and is giving up 68.5. Baylor is averaging 76.4 and giving up 68.9. West Virginia is 19.8 and 8-6 in the Big 12. Baylor is 17.10 and 7-7 in the Big 12.

Terry Maston has scored 23 or more in three of his last five games, after being out with an injury. He is averaging 10.9 for the season. Manu Lecomte is averaging 16.5 points and has made 79 three-pointers.

Baylor has made 182 three-pointers and West Virginia has 244.

Jevon Carter has made 54 three-pointers and is averaging 16.9 points. Daxter Miles is averaging 12.2. James Bolden has made 61 three-pointers.

The Mountaineers season has spiraled downward in last month and think it's tough to turn it around on the road in short turn around since Saturday's loss at Kansas. Bears also are the much hotter team winning 5 in a row straight up and 6-0 ATS in last 6 games. Trends continue today with Baylor staying hot tonight. Final Score Prediction, Baylor Bears win and cover ATS 75-70.
