Maryland improved to 14-3 on the season following its 78-75 win over Indiana on Friday. The Terrapins were led by Bruno Fernando with 25 points and 13 boards, while Anthony Cowan Jr. added 24 points. A second-half rally by Maryland gave the Terrapins the win and a 5-1 record in the Big Ten.
Ethan Happ leads Wisconsin in scoring, rebounding and assists with averages of 20.0 points, 10.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game. Two other players are averaging double figures in scoring for the Badgers. Wisconsin is shooting 49.0% from the field and 39.5% from 3-point territory.
Anthony Cowan Jr. is the leading scorer and the leader in assists for Maryland with averages of 17.6 points and 4.5 assists per game. Bruno Fernando is the second leading scorer and leader in rebounds with averages of 14.8 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.
