Western Carolina at VMI 2/4/22 - College Basketball Picks & Predictions

The Western Carolina Catamounts will end a two game homestand Friday night as they visit Lexington, VA to take on the VMI Keydets. WCU is five games below .500 on the season following a 3 point win against ETSU that ended a five game losing streak. Offensively VMI had one of their best games in recent memory shooting 43.8% from the floor and 35.6% from beyond the arc to score 87 total points including 53 in the second half to erase a 13 point halftime deficit. 

Nicholas Robinson had one of his best games of his career posting a team high 37 points on 13 of 23 shooting in 39 minutes on the floor. Cam Bacote added 21 points in 30 minutes and Marcus Banks chipped in 15 points on five of 13 shooting.

The VMI Keydets will return home Friday night 13-10 on the year riding a two game win streak following an 11 point win. Kamdyn Curfman led all scorers for VMI last game out posting 18 points in 34 minutes. Trey Bonham added 17 points and a team high seven assists, while Jake Stevens chipped in 15 points and six rebounds in 36 minutes.

Offensively this season VMI has been an above average team averaging 79.2 points per game on 46.8% shooting. Jake Stevens leads the team with 18.6 points per game on 54.4% shooting to go along with a team leading 9 rebounds. Kamdyn Curfman His second on the team in scoring posting 17 points per game and Trey Bonham adds 10.9 points and a team leading 4 assists.
