Washington State at Brigham Young 3/23/22 - College Basketball Picks & Predictions

In the second game of a Wednesday night NIT quarterfinal doubleheader, the Washington State Cougars will face the BYU Cougars from the Marriott Center. The Cougars (21-14) finished two games above .500 in PAC 12 Conference play and are allowing a shade under 65 points per contest. Last time out, Washington State outrebounded SMU by 14 during a 75-63 road victory.

Washington State G Michael Flowers converted 7-for-7 from the charity stripe and finished with a team-high 22 points. T.J. Bamba chipped in 13 points and four rebounds for the Cougars.

The BYU Cougars finished in fifth place in the West Coast Conference and are averaging 74.7 points per game. On Saturday, BYU outscored Northern Iowa by 14 points during the second half to pull away for a 90-71 home victory. The Cougars (24-10) connected on 16-for-37 from the three-point line and shot 52 percent overall.

BYU F Gideon George led all scorers with 27 points on 10-for-15 shooting and grabbed six rebounds. Tejon Lucas added 14 points and eight assists for the Cougars.

Washington State has covered seven of their 12 road games and BYU owns a 14-2 record on their home floor. BYU scored 90 plus points in the first two rounds of this tournament and I like this game to go over the total. Final Score Prediction, BYU Cougars win 77-74.
