Villanova at Providence 1/25/20 - NCAA Basketball Picks & Predictions

The No. 9 ranked Villanova Wildcats visit Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island on Saturday for a Big East battle with the Providence Friars. Villanova improved to 15-3 overall and 5-1 in the BIg East following its 76-61 victory over the Butler Bulldogs. The Wildcats we're led in the victory by Jermaine Samuels with 20 points, while Saddiq Bey scored 14.

Providence fell to 11-9 overall and 4-3 in the Big East following its 73-64 loss to Seton Hall. The Friars shot just 35.9% from the field and 16.7% from 3-point territory in the loss. Alpha Diallo is the leading scorer and rebounder for Providence with averages of 13.9 points and 8.2 rebounds per game, while David Duke is the second-leading scorer and leader in assists with averages of 14.8 points and 3.8 assists per game. Diallo and Duke are the only two players for Providence averaging double figures in scoring.
