VCU at St. Joe's 1/21/20 - NCAA Basketball Picks & Predictions

The VCU Rams are not looking that bad this year, but do have Dayton in the A10 as well who is running away with the A10. The Rams have a 3-2 record in the A10 this year, but are sitting on a 13-5 record when it comes to the overall play. The last game saw the Rams light up the scoreboard over the Bonnies by a 91-63 score.

Marcus Santos-Silva has put in 13.3 points a game for the Rams. Marus Evans has put up 2.9 assist a game. Sanots-Silva has pulled down 9.1 boards a game for the Rams. As a team, VCU is scoring only 71.7 points a game, but the defense for the Rams is giving up 62.1 points a game.

The Hawks are still looking for their first win on the year in the A10 with an 0-5 record. The overall record for the Hawks is not any better as the Hawks have a 4-14 record on the season. The last game for the Hawks was a surprising win over Penn by an 87-81 score.

Ryan Daly has put in 20.1 points a game, but also leads the Hawks in assist as well at 4.4 a game. Daly seem to do it all for the Hawks, though, with 8 boards a game on the year as well. The Saint Joseph team is getting only 70.5 points per game. When it comes to the defense the Hawks have allowed 81.3 points a game.

The Hawks are struggling this year and it will definitely show up again in the game here. The Hawks defense is going to have the same issues the Bonnies defense had at slowing down the Rams in the game. The Hawks offense, will not be that productive either and that will lead to the game turning into a rout as Saint Joseph continues to struggle on both ends of the court. Final Score Prediction, VCU Rams win and cover ATS 88-62.
