The UT San Antonio Roadrunners visit Verizon Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas on Saturday to play the Arkansas Razorbacks. The Roadrunners fell to 3-6 on the season after losing on Saturday to the Texas State Bobcats 69-68. UTSA missed a putback with just 10 seconds remaining in the one-point loss. Jhivvan Jackson led the Roadrunners in the loss with 22 points, while Keaton Wallace scored 19.
Arkansas lost for just the second time this season and now is 6-2 after losing to Western Kentucky 78-77 in its last outing. The Razorbacks had two final chances to win but a Jalen Harris shot was blocked and Daniel Gafford attempt was altered and missed. Isaiah Joe led Arkansas with 19 points.
Keaton Wallace leads UTSA in scoring with an average of 19.6 points per game, while Jhivvan Jackson is a close second at 18.7 points per game. Byron Frohnen leads in rebounding with an average of 8.0 per game and Giovanni De Nicolao leads in assists with an average of 3.4 per game.
Daniel Gafford leads Arkansas in scoring and rebounding with averages of 18.5 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. Jalen Harris leads the team in assists with an average of 7.3 per game. Arkansas is shooting 47.8% from the field and 36.1% from 3-point territory.
