Mark Madsen is coming to the game here with a team that is going to be completely new in the starting lineup. The Wolverines are also coming into the game here after struggling on the season last year by getting to an 11-19 record overall.

Coming to this game the Wolverines last year ended up getting a total of 70.2 points a game scored. The defense for Utah Valley ended up giving up 71 points a game. The rebounding for the Utah Valley state team ended up pulling down 35.2 boards a game, but they did manage to get 13.7 assist per game.

Stanford would like to build off of the success they had last year. Last season the Cardinal finished the season with a 20-12 record overall. The Stanford team is bringing back a total of 4 starters from the season last year and now is starting to bring back even more talent with the transfers that are coming into the roster.

Stanford is coming to the year with an offense that ended up getting 69.5 points a game scored. The defense for the Cardinal allowed only 62.5 points a game. The Stanford team did not look bad on the glass with 32.5 boards a game, but the team did get a total of 12.9 assist per game.

Stanford will control this game, but the big question is if the 17.5 points is too much of a spread for the Cardinal. In this case, it most likely is a little bit of a stretch and that will make it very difficult for the Stanford team to cover. Look for Stanford to win the game, though, as their defense keeps Utah Valley in check. Final Score Prediction,  Stanford Cardinal wins, but fails to cover ATS 74-65.
