The Washington Huskies will play their second game of the conference tournament late Thursday night against the USC Trojans. Washington comes into Thursday night after winning four of the last five games played including a 12 point win over Utah in round one of the tournament. Offensively Washington was dominant making 47.6% of their shots and 44.4% from beyond the arc to score 40+ points in each half against Utah.
Terrell Brown Jr. led all scorers for Washington with 22 points on 9 of 19 shooting in 38 minutes. Jamal Bey contributed 19 points on 5 of 12 shooting and Nate Roberts added five points in a team I 11 rebound in 32 minutes on the floor.
The USC Trojans come into the conference tournament Thursday night after finishing the season on a 2 game losing streak. Offensively USC was terrible in the final game of the season against UCLA after making 49% of their shots the Trojans turned the ball over 15 times leading to the loss.
Offensively this season USC has four players averaging double figures as Isaiah Mobley leads the way scoring 14.6 points per game to go along with a team high 8.5 rebounds. Drew Peterson is second on the team scoring 12.5 points per game in post a team leading 3.4 assists, while Boogie Ellis chips have a third best 12.2 points.
