UNLV at San Francisco 12/4/21 - College Basketball Picks & Predictions

The Saturday college basketball schedule will conclude with a battle between the UNLV Rebels and the San Francisco Dons from the Sobrato Center. The Rebels (4-4) have dropped four of their last five games and are allowing 65.1 points per contest. On Wednesday, UNLV trailed by 23 points at halftime during an ugly 83-64 road loss against SMU.

UNLV F Royce Hamm Jr. tallied a team-high 13 points on 5-for-11 from the field and grabbed ten rebounds. Bryce Hamilton and Justin Webster added 12 points apiece for the Rebels, who allowed the Mustangs to shoot 60 percent from the field.

The San Francisco Dons have reeled off eight straight victories to start the season and are averaging 77.8 points per game. Last time out, San Francisco built an 11-point halftime lead and held on down the stretch for a 63-61 victory versus UAB in the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational. The Dons (8-0) connected on 9-for-18 from the three-point line and won despite turning the ball over 23 times.

San Francisco F Yauhen Massalski led all scorers with 23 points on 10-for-15 shooting and pulled down 13 boards. Gabe Stefanini chipped in 11 points and four rebounds for the Dons.

Both teams have played quality competition to start the season and the total appears to be set accurately. The Rebels are better than their record would indicate and they can keep things closer than this spread would indicate. Final Score Prediction, San Francisco Dons win 70-64.
