The UConn Huskies will be in Hawaii again Wednesday afternoon for a match-up with the Dayton Flyers. UConn has been struggling in Hawaii as they have lost both games in the tournament following their narrow loss to Colorado on Tuesday. Offensively Dayton found their groove against Iowa State scoring 84 points on 50% shooting from the floor knocked down 7 triples in the game. The Flyers also won the rebounding battle but turned the ball over 11 times resulting in the loss. Malachi Smith carried the load for the Dayton offense against Iowa State with 22 points on nine shots and 31 minutes. Enoch Cheeks chipped in heavily with 16 points on eight shots, while Zed Key added 15 points in 25 minutes. Nate Santos was the 4th Dayton starter in double digits with 12 points on 13 shots and 31 minutes.
