The Washington state Cougars will meet the UCLA Bruins Thursday night in T-Mobile Arena in the PAC 12 conference tournament. Washington State comes into Thursday night running hot on a four game win streak following a seven point win over California in round one of the tournament. Defensively Washington State dominated the game holding California 31.3% shooting and forced 14 turnovers in the victory.
The Washington State offense has been the team's biggest strength this season as the Cougars average 72.1 points per game on 41% shooting from the floor. Michael Flowers leads the Washington State offense averaging 14.2 points per game to go along with a team high 3.3 assists. Tyrell Roberts is second on the team everything 10.9 points per game and Noah Williams chips and 10.2 points.
The UCLA Bruins open the conference tournament Thursday night after winning for the last five games played including three in a row to end the season. UCLA beat USC 75-68 in the final game of the regular season after the Bruins shot 45.6% from the floor to score 75 points in the game.
Jamie Jaquez Jr. led all scorers in the game with 27 points on 10 of 16 shooting in 34 minutes on the floor. Jules Bernard added a second best 19 points in 35 minutes and Tyger Campbell chipped in nine points and four assists for UCLA as well.
