UCLA vs Gonzaga 4/3/21 - NCAA Basketball Picks & Predictions

A spot in the College Basketball National Championship Game will be on the line when the UCLA Bruins battle the Gonzaga Bulldogs on Saturday night from Lucas Oil Stadium. The 11th seeded Bruins finished in fourth place in the Pac 12 Conference with a 13-6 record and are allowing 67.6 points per game. On Tuesday, UCLA forced 14 turnovers and limited Michigan to 39 percent shooting during a 51-49 victory.

UCLA G Johnny Juzang poured in a game-high 28 points on an 11-for-19 shooting performance. Tyger Campbell chipped in 11 points, two assists, and two steals for the Bruins.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs are looking to become the first undefeated national champion since the Indiana Hoosiers accomplished the feat in 1976. The top-seeded Bulldogs (30-0) ran through the West Coast Conference and rank second in the country in scoring at 91.6 points per game. On Tuesday, Gonzaga built a 19-points halftime lead and cruised to an 85-66 victory versus USC.

Gonzaga F Drew Timme led all scorers with 23 points on 10-for-19 shooting to go along with five rebounds and four assists. Corey Kispert and Jalen Suggs contributed 18 points apiece for  the Bulldogs.

UCLA ranks 26th nationally in taking care of the ball and that will be key, as Gonzaga feasted off turnovers from USC last time out. The Bruins will try to control the tempo and could keep things close early, but ultimately they lack the scoring power to keep up with the Bulldogs. Take Gonzaga to win and cover. Final Score Prediction, Gonzaga Bulldogs win and cover ATS 82-63.
