The UC Santa Barbara Gauchos visit the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, Hawaii to play the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. The Gauchos fell to 15-5 on the season with a 66-62 overtime loss to UC Irvine on Thursday. Amadou Sow led Santa Barbara with 13 points. Before the loss the Gauchos were 9-0 at home this season.
Hawaii improved to 13-7 following its 74-57 win over Long Beach State on Thursday. The Rainbow Warriors were led by Brock Stepteau with 16 points, while Eddie Stansberry scored 14. Hawaii is 4-2 in Big West Conference play following its win.
Ar’Mond Davis leads the Gauchos in scoring with an average of 14.3 points per game. Devearl Ramsey is the leader in assists with an average of 3.5 per game. Amadou Sow is the leader in rebounds with an average of 6.2 per game. UC Santa Barbara is shooting 46.8% from the field and 35.0% from 3-point territory.
Eddie Stansberry leads Hawaii in scoring with an average of 12.7 points per game. The leader in assists is Drew Buggs with an average of 5.5 per game. Zigmars Raimo leads the Warriors in rebounding with an average of 6.7 per game. As a team, Hawaii is shooting 45.4% from the field and 34.8% from 3-point territory.
