Off to a 7-5 start to the season, the UC Riverside Highlanders travel further inland to battle the CSU Bakersfield Roadrunners. The Highlanders went 14-8 last season and are hopeful they can contend in the Big West this year.

Zyon Pullin leads the Highlanders in scoring and is averaging 11.5 points per game. Pullin is a well-rounded player and also contributes 6.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists per contest. J.P. Moorman II is an additional scoring threat for the Highlanders and puts up 11.1 points per contest. Callum McRae is a force down low defensively for the Highlanders and is averaging 8.8 points and 8.6 rebounds per game.

Struggling at 5-5, the CSU Bakersfield Roadrunners play host to the UC Riverside Highlanders. The Roadrunners went 15-11 last season and 9-7 in conference play but will be hard pressed to repeat that performance at their current pace.

Off has been a challenge for the Roadrunners this year as they only have two players averaging double figure points per game.Justin Mccall paces the Roadrunners and is averaging 10.6 points per game. Kaleb Higgins is the additional double-figure scorer for the Roadrunners and is averaging 10 points per contest. The Roadrunners are only averaging 64.4 points per game and will need to improve in that area and across the board to compete in the Big West.

The Roadrunners do not have a lot of true scorers on the year and that will show up in this game. The Highlanders are almost in the same boat, but have better talent by just a little bit. Look for the Highlanders to come in scoring a little bit better and that makes all the difference in the game. Final Score Prediction, UC Riverside Highlanders win on the under 60-57.
